Product Description

We welcomed  back the continuous of Chichibu On The Way Floor Malted 2024—a whisky that embodies the pinnacle of Japanese craftsmanship and the relentless pursuit of perfection. The fourth installment in the esteemed "On The Way" series is not just a drink; it's a journey through tradition, innovation, and unparalleled flavor.

This exceptional single malt lies the meticulous floor malting process—a labor-intensive art where barley is spread across the distillery floor and turned by hand to ensure optimal germination. This dedication to traditional methods imparts a rich, nuanced character to the whisky, setting it apart from the rest.

Aged between 9 to 15 years in a harmonious blend of cask types—including ex-bourbon barrels, Chibidaru casks, Mizunara oak, puncheons, and wine casks—this whisky offers a complex and layered profile. On the nose, be greeted by vibrant aromas of kumquat, peach, sweet vanilla, and a hint of honey. The palate unfolds with creamy textures reminiscent of condensed milk and yogurt, elegantly interwoven with notes of ripe plums and peaches, culminating in a gentle, enduring finish.

Bottled at a robust 54.5% ABV and with only 12,000 bottles released globally, the Chichibu On The Way 2024 is a collector's dream and a connoisseur's delight. Its rarity is matched only by its quality, making it a coveted addition to any whisky collection.
